Eco-printing explained.
Eco printing is a process in which plant material is ‘bundled’ with fabric or paper, and boiled or steamed to release natural dye imprints.
The outcome of a print- it’s colour, brilliance, and texture- is born from a delicate blend of everyday conditions, from weather patterns, seasonal changes, tannin content and fibre preparation. Every ecoprint is therefore undeniably unique, and governed by the changing rhythms of the natural world throughout the seasons.
